By advancing mutual respect and collaboration, we ensure everyone contributes to breaking barriers and building a balanced and equitable society. There is no 'she' without 'he.' After joining the HerWILL cohort, for the first time in my career, I truly feel like I belong and that my voice is heard. Before, I lacked role models and mentors from similar backgrounds, but now I have the opportunities to network and learn from the best in their chosen fields. Initiatives such as the UN Women’s Generation Equality Program (named GEYA at HerWILL) allowed me to hone in on my leadership skills and gave me the training I needed to be confident in my current role.
