Leadership Development

At the beginning of 2023, the Fortune 500 crossed a milestone:
for the first time in history, women now run 10% of America’s largest public companies. While we’ve come a long way,  HerWILL wants to do better than 10% and help create diverse women leaders globally.

Our leadership development program provides women and youth the tools they need to advocate for equality in their communities and a platform for the world to hear their voices.

In order to do this, we partner with international organizations to offer leadership training to thousands of women globally.

BizTalk Fusion:
A HerWILL Communication Program

Our signature virtual workshop series focuses on cross cultural communication and how great communicators become even better leaders.

Through this program, over 800 students were able to enhance their communication skills and acquire the tools they needed to collaborate effectively across international boundaries

Students who completed the program and excelled in the project received Google Scholarships for continued learning and education.

 Generation Equality Cohort

“I’m way more confident than I was before [the program] and the amazing women who led us through this entire program were so motivational that it genuinely made me believe I could influence people around me.”

- Umayma Rahemin Zubin,
GEYA Program Intern

Girls like Umayma represent the hundreds of women and youth we've worked with and the millions we advocate for everyday.

Past Generation Equality Sessions

Generation Equality

Generation Equality is a campaign led by UN Women that demands equality for all women.

This includes equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to sexual harassment and all forms of violence against women and girls, healthcare services that respond to their needs, and their equal participation in political life and decision-making in all areas of life.

In collaboration with UN Women, HerWILL organized Generation Equality (GEYA) cohorts composed of young activists who went through leadership training with a focus on gender equality.
